Michael Starr

From 1997 – 1998 Michael Starr aka Ralph Saenz (born May 17) was involved in the glam metal band “LA Guns” which published the EP “Wasted” with Michael as lead singer. Further, he was also the frontman of the Van Halen tribute band called “Atomic Punks”, in which he sang the lead vocals (Michael sang the lead vocals in this band already on Metal Shop / Metal Skool and Steel Panther times). The best conditions for a singer in a 80s hair metal band, because his versatile and charismatic vocals sometimes remind to “David Lee Roth”. That’s why he was nicknamed “David Lee Ralph.” And his entertainer qualities, combined with his live endurance and the unique charm make him a front man par excellence. Here and there you can hear Michael as a singer and he was involved in the movie “Rock Star”. 2011, he was a singer in the movie “Poolboy: Drowning Out the Fury” and he sang the cover songs “Do not Let It End” and “Be Good To Yourself” on a Hair Metal Sampler.

More Songs with Michael Starr on vocals:

  • Redemption – Gus G,
  • Innocent Man (Big Movies, Big Music Vol.12)
  • Breakin’ The Chains (Big Movies, Big Music Vol.12)
  • Fall To Rise – Duet with Jasmine Caine
  • 6969 – Ninja Sex Party (Michael as “Dick Elder”)
