This week Wikimetal‘s guest is Lexxi Foxx, the most bitchin’ bass player on earth. He’s talking about how Steel Panther feels about Rock in the 80′s, the idea behind the band and about the period when Glam Rock was at its peak in the US. I love his strange noises in the interview and the interviewer who sounds like he would do the interview in the bathroom ;) It’s an older interview, but it’s fun to listen to it. Thanks to Klaudia for sharing! :)
There is no line of demarcation, no point during a phone interview — or even in person, really — where Travis Haley ends and his alter-ego, Lexxi Foxx, begins.
I had the same experience during my interview with him – but he is always lovely and friendly…
“It’s about how you look and not necessarily how you play,” he said. “I make mistakes every night, but I don’t care; I just want to look bitchin’.[…]”
Michael Starr & Stix Zadinia talked about a new song called “Gang Bang At The Old Folks Home”. I guess you will find it on the upcoming album which will definitely blow us away with killer riffs and great lyrics. The guys played it at sound check before their last Vegas show (03/09/2013).
